A short performance as an outcome of iLOGY storytelling workshop sharing of her experience by Hemamalini from Perth, Australia
Thank you once again for this wonderful workshop and the opportunity to receive guidance from you (Sudipto) and Janardan. It has been truly inspiring and reflective, and I have learnt many things over these three to four sessions. Thank you both for providing a space where I could share my thoughts freely and for offering inspiration and guidance in expanding my work. I am very grateful for this and will share with you all once the work has evolved into a bigger performance. I look forward to working with you both again in the future. I flow with the grace of time,
embracing each expansion into new ground
I reach, I seek the light
even as my roots hold me firm
Yet, I am unfinished, ever-growing
My soul craves many things
Each leaf is a possibility
Each branch is a new connection
Some branches stop growing
Some fall away
While others stretch onward, continuing to grow
weaving stories and memories
I hold many perspectives
and through my cracks, my depths are seen
I am evolving
a singular being, yet a thousand selves,
I am one, yet I am many.
