This is an open call for text and movement performers to be a part of a workshop & a devised performance titled ” Body Essays Seeking Gandhi”

The workshop and performance will be on November 16th & 17th, 2020. The engagement will be 90 mins duration on each day. The workshop and devised performance will be held in Kolkata.

There will be further workshop and performances online, which will be open to participation from around the world.

About

This workshop and the performance is a part of a program called “Performing Freedom of Independence”. In this we inquire into various forms of oppression in the personal and the political sphere and perform a reflexive action of recreation of freedom.

During this workshop , we will be responding and expanding upon the impulses created by previous artistic articulations based on the life and philosophy of Gandhi.

The workshop will be conducted by Sudipta Dawn & Parnab Mukherjee.
