Une Soirée pleine d’histoires – An Evening of Stories , is an yearly storytelling event which has been jointly organized by Alliance française du Bengale and Culture Monks since 2016.
This year we are going virtual over 2 days. The storytelling sessions and workshops will be held online and live.The sessions will be held on September 19 & 20, 2020.
The Calling
A time like any other time – but the drama and uncertainty is real and tangible. Yet here we are in a virtual world, necessitated yes, but more so willed, for the need to interact and to tell stories for humans is an insatiable basic need which must be met. Yet a story is not a mere escapade – it is organic. Organic to the time which like all any other time seeks a voice, a hero – a return to safe refuge. Yes, the question of originality – looking beyond all that we learnt and moving into what we experienced.
