The Italian Embassy Culture Center, New Delhi, Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata & Culture Monks are delighted to present the screening of the film “Easy Living” and an interaction with the directors Peter & Orso Miyakawa on Nov 10, 2022 from 6 pm at SRFTI main auditorium. Entry is free and open to all.

Orso Miyakawa

Born in Monaco in 1992, Orso Miyakawa spent his childhood between Torino, Tokyo and Milano. After high school, he moved to Paris where he approached the world of video making. He then moved to the United States to attend the New York Film Academy where he earned a BFA with honors in filmmaking in 2015. He worked on over 30 productions between feature films, Tv Shows, Shots and Music Video around Europe, the U.S. and India. His short films were presented in numerous film festivals such as the Torino Film Festival in 2014 and the Venice Film Festival in 2016. Easy Living, which he co-directed with his brother Peter, is his first feature film.

Peter Miyakawa

Born in Monaco in 1995, Peter grew up between Turin, Tokyo and Milan. During his high-school years at the Liceo Artistico di Brera in Milan, he began to approach the world of Cinema and in 2014 Peter moved to California to start his film studies. In 2016 Peter worked for one year at the radio station KCSB, as a music programmer. During the American period, Peter studied Cinema and Psychology, graduating in both majors from University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2018. Peter worked in several short-films as a director, writer and actor and in 2018 he moved back to Italy to work in Italian cinema. In 2019 he co-directed with his brother Orso his first feature film Easy Living.
