Welcome to the pristine nature of rural Shantiniketan countryside 3 hours from Kolkata city, birthplace of global singer & Sound Yogini Tritha where she invites you to soak into contemporary music inspired by the roots of India. Travelled and represented in over 22 countries, 18 albums released Tritha had been invited recently in November at Oxford University, UK to demonstrate her knowledge on sacred sound geometry based on ancient Indian sound wisdom. Also featured on BBC as a music activist, and invited to Cannes Festival for award winning music score “Voyage for Change” in 2019, she is truly a global Indian icon.
Saturday night will be a celebration concert night with opening acts by baul folk music artists from Shantiniketan. Sunday morning starts with yoga by renowned teacher from Amsterdam, Tara followed by 2 workshops on Naad Yoga by Tritha on Voice Opening in the morning and Chakra Sound Meditation after lunch.
Accomodation is included in the beautiful Tepantar artist residency in Shantiniketan.
