Soirée pleine d’histoires – Evenings of Stories , is an yearly storytelling event which has been jointly organized by Alliance française du Bengale and Culture Monks since 2016.
This year the theme is “Interweaving with Ether: Storyteller as a mystic in the post human.”
This year the event will take place from March 20 – 27, 2025. It will be held in offline and online modes. The offline performances will be held in different places in Kolkata.

Calling for stories, performances & workshops which takes a critical view of ‘Anthropocene’ and imagines ‘counter-memories’ and ‘alternative narratives’ which frees us from “entrenched ideas and institutions; it frees us to imagine other possibilities” where the storyteller/performer as a human co-exists with the the ecological & the technological. We are seeking the ways of the storyteller/performer as the mystic who creates natural mystical experiences out of this disembodiment and metamorphosis.
