Synopsis
The audience will have the opportunity to learn from the best in Hollywood, ask questions and understand what really happens behind the scenes there.
About the Speakers
Jack Sholder is an acclaimed US based Film Director. He has been associated with the Hollywood film Industry since 1970, with his first big ticket directorial project hitting the screens in 1985. Jack has 20 Films and TV series to his credit as a Director and have excelled in Horror and Fantasy movies. Various film studios and TV networks like MGM, Paramount, Universal, Warner Bros, Fox Network, Discovery, Liongate have hired him for his directorial prowess. He is famous for movies like Nightmare on Elm Street II, The Hidden, By the Dawn’s Early Light, Alone in the Dark, Where are the Children, among others.
Jack also founded the Film & Television Production program at Western Carolina University where he was the Professor and Director till 2017.
Joshua Russell is an academic and award-winning filmmaker. He has been associated for the last 10 years teaching Screen writing at various American Institutions like Columbia College Chicago, WCU, Elmhurst College and DePaul University. He has credits as Writer / Producer for such films like Fancypants and Christian & OMG. He has sold and optioned multiple screenplays, and won “Best Producer” at St. Tropez in France, and “Best Picture” at Sunscreen in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is also a co-author of the popular broad-audience science fiction book series Universe Eventual. His upcoming feature Absolution (as writer/director/producer) will have stage actor Mike Nussbaum alongwith YouTube star Luke Conard.
