This is a part for the 2025 edition of Soirée pleine d’histoires (Evenings of Stories). The theme this year is “Interweaving with Ether”.
This session of Interweaving with Ether is a celebration of the storyteller as a mystic in the postmodern. We witness the ways of a storyteller to create new perspectives and transcendental experiences.
Featuring Daisy Green x Women’s Music Jam (During her performance she will be joined by the Women’s Music Jam, the recently formed , vibrant collective of local female artists, for a collaborative performance, group song and sharing circle), Shunya Mundi, Ishita Jain, Bulada, Joy Roy Choudhury, Surajit Mitra & friends from the Global School of Art & Music (outcome of a music workshop conducted in April 2025), Janardan Ghosh, Bibhas & others

About the participating artists
Daisy Green x Women’s Music Jam
Daisy Green is a storyteller, lyricist, and advocate for self-expression. She shares her deeply personal journey of healing, spirituality, and female empowerment through her music.
Daisy is the promoter and facilitator of ‘Women’s Music Jam’ an international community initiative she has recently launched in Kolkata with multi disciplinary artist Shunya Mundi at her artist studio. Their mission is to inspire more women to share their truth and take up space in male dominated music scenes.
Shuya Mundi
Shunya Mundi is a multidisciplinary artist blending movement, visual art & storytelling into immersive healing experiences. She is the founder of Shunya Mundi artist studio in Kolakta.
Ishita Jain
Ishita Jain is an artist-scholar and architectural historian working on affective learning environments and mythopoetic theatre. She co-founded Living Midnight Narrative Outfit (LMNO) in India. With the support of the Graham Foundation, LMNO is currently developing fictioning as a technology for indie-futures through a sustained study of Traditional Indian Board Games. She co-founded the artist collective Out of India with Gavin Keeney, co-located across US, India, and Spain where she directs, choreographs, and documents spatial intensities through theatrical-cinematic methods. Her current research project, with Prof. Shiv Visvanathan, looks at affective production of more-than-human environments in pastoral and heritage-bound ecologies in the lower Himalayas in India.
Pradip Chattopadhy (Bulada)
Pradip Chattopadhy (Bulada) is a storyteller, theatre practitioner, sound artist and musician. He was the founder member, vocalist & flutists of the iconic Bengali rock band – Mohiner Ghoraguli.
Surajit Mitra
Surjait Mitra is a storyteller & a musician. He is the concert master of the Bengal Philaharmonic Orchestra and a violin teacher.
Bibhas
Bibhas is the theatre practitioner, theatre teacher and a performance artist. He is junior fellow (theatre) of Ministry of Culture (India) and has been practicing theater for over 20 years.
Janardhan Ghosh
Janardan is a storyteller, actor independent cinema , director, artistic researcher and a theatre practitioner.
About Soirée pleine d’histoires – Evenings of Stories
Soirée pleine d’histoires – Evenings of Stories , is an yearly storytelling event which has been jointly organized by Alliance française du Bengale and Culture Monks since 2016.
