Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Embassy of Israel in India & Culture Monks are delighted to present a lecture by Shahar Marcus on performance & video art.
All are welcome to attend the lecture.
A lecture on experimental film making will be delivered by Shahar Marcus at the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute on April 20, 2018 from 6 pm onwards. The lecture will be attended by the film lovers & practitioners from the city , students & faculty of SRFTI.
In the framework of 90 minutes lecture, Marcus will show his performances and video art and will talk about his art and biography.
Shahar Marcus (b. 1971) is is leading international video & performance artist from Israel. His primary works in the medium of performance and video art. He is an active artist for over a decade and has exhibited at various art- institutions, both in Israel and around the world, including: The Tate Modern ,The Israel Museum, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Petach Tikva Museum of Art , Charlottenburg, Copenhagen- Kunsthalle , Moscow Biennale, Poznan Biennale, Moscow Museum of Modern Art and at other art- venues in Poland, Italy, Germany, Georgia, Japan, the USA and Turkey.
