About the performance
… in this ethereal performance, inspired by the mirrored musings of “Borges and I,” a quartet of souls steps into a space of introspection. A musician, a physical performer, a storyteller, and an art connoisseur join hands in a dance of ideas. We do not merely traverse Borges’ text; rather we spiral through it like a dervish, and a constellation of selves reflecting upon selves and beyond… Brahman… may be.
Here, identity is a prism, and each of us try to refract our colours into a tapestry of contemporary echoes in a liminal space. The musician’s notes intertwine with the storyteller’s tales, the performer’s movements sketch the fluid lines of existence, while the curator cum creator shapes the space where these reflections come alive.
In this poetic detour, the performance becomes a living dialogue between the timeless labyrinths of Borges’ thought and our own contemporary quests.
It is a mosaic of identity and illusion, an axiomatic flourish where each participant finds their own reflection in the weave of story and sound…
Borges is fragile and we handle it carelessly.
